Shalimar re-joined Elsevier in July 2021 as an Expert in Publishing Ethics. In this role, she assists publishing teams by managing intricate ethical cases with a great deal of sensitivity and serves as Elsevier’s representative on ethics committees related to society and industry. Prior to re-joining Elsevier, Shalimar was a senior publisher at Atlantis Press, which is now part of the Springer Nature Group, where she managed the portfolio of open access journals and provided support for business development activities. Shalimar has also held various publishing roles at Elsevier’s Jordan office, including publishing support management, where she was responsible for a portfolio of former third party journals.
