Alice Lehtinen

I am a bilingual Brit (Finnish English), born in the UK, but have lived in Finland since 1995.

I am a British Editor, and have had my own company, Altexta since the beginning of 2017. Previous to becoming self-employed, I worked as the English Language Editor at the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health (FIOH) for 11 years, where my main task was editing the language of scientific articles written by Finnish researchers before they were sent off for publication in international journals.

My main area of specialization is occupational health, which covers many branches of both the social and natural sciences.
My main clients are my former employer, FIOH and the University of Helsinki.

Altexta also offers FI–ENG translation services.

I have a BA in modern languages from the University of Bradford.
