This was the second webinar in our newly launched Member-webinar series in 2021, focussing on skills, processes and perspectives on science editing-related topics.
The Word and typography webinar covers two themes: Part 1, with Prof. Helen Sword, giving a social sciences perspective on effective writing, what science editors can do to treat their readers to dynamic prose, and craft stylish academic writing, along with a range of resources to support writers and editors; and Part 2 with EASE Council member, freelance copyeditor and trainer Yateen Joshi, giving his expert insights into effective typography and text design.
