Session 4: Quality publishing needs quality people

Friday, 2 June 2023 – 11.45am-1.00pm (Turkish time)

This session addressed the important role people play in publishing a high-quality journal. The session explored the role of editorial boards, editorial staff, and peer-reviewers. All of these actors in journal production require specific skills – that is why journals need to have training in place, and ways to recruit and reward the best experts.
