    This session will focus on where editors add value in the AI landscape and why it matters. It will include sections on evaluating AI-generated content, handling sensitive author communication in the AI era, accessibility as an editorial skill (the role manuscript editors play in generating or vetting alt text and simplifying or providing peer reviewer feedback), and editing beyond text (graphical abstracts and visual accuracy).

This conference will bring experts in the field of ethics education together to exchange knowledge, best practices and critically reflect on current needs in education, training, and ways to shape responsible professionals. There will also be interactive workshops and opportunities for networking with both national and international colleagues.
