One of the things that members and delegates like most about our EASE conferences is the chance to meet up with friends and colleagues, to talk shop, exchange ideas and socialise. At this conference we created several social sessions which gave us some much missed networking opportunities.
Our first EASE quiz was a light-hearted team event, with the ‘Smart chicken running’ team claiming the winning honours. Much fun was had by all our contestants, and the high scoring winners added another 45 trees to our EASE forest – as we plant-for-the-planet.
On the Thursday of the Conference we hosted two Get-togethers at which delegates joined a virtual outdoor reception, to meet up with others to mull over the day’s proceedings and meet up with friends, old and new. Just like at an in-person conference, this gave everyone a chance to meet the newly elected EASE Council members and chat with committee chairs.
